How does BRNIQ work?

BRNIQ blocks the apps that eat your time. Try to open one, and we ask you to read 5 quick cards and pass a short quiz. Nail it, and your apps unlock for a duration you choose — 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes. Learn first, scroll second.

How do I set up which apps to block?

Open Settings → Blocked Apps in BRNIQ and pick anything you want to earn your way back into — Instagram, TikTok, whatever pulls you in. Add or remove apps any time.

How do I earn my scroll?

Read 5 cards on a topic you choose, then pass a quick quiz (2 out of 3 correct). Do that and your blocked apps unlock — you've earned it.

Why isn't my app being blocked?

Make sure BRNIQ has Screen Time permissions enabled in your iPhone Settings, and check the app is added under Blocked Apps in BRNIQ. If you've unlocked it recently, it'll stay open until that unlock window ends.

How long does the unlock last?

You choose — 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes. After that, the app locks again until you earn your next unlock.

Can I change the unlock time?

Yes — pick 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes any time in Settings → Unlock Duration. A change applies to your next unlock, not one already in progress.

What happens if I fail the quiz?

No stress — you get another shot with a different question. Get the same question wrong three times and we'll show you the card again so it sticks, then you try again.
